Rotherham

The Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham is surrounded by attractive countryside, contemporary leisure facilities and extensive retail outlets. Its proximity to an international airport, the M1 and M18 and the high-speed capital rail links give it a unique location. The Rotherham borough has a population of approximately 250,000 and covers approximately 100 square miles. Much of the local historic coal, iron and steel industries are diminished and have been replaced by thriving and vibrant light and service industries. One legacy of its industrial heritage is that the borough is made up of many villages separated by farm and common land. Rotherham has a number of very pleasant suburbs and the hospital itself is located in attractive leafy urban surroundings approximately two miles from the town centre. Housing in the Rotherham area is competitively priced and offers a wide range of choices, including urban and rural locations.

Doncaster

Doncaster is a historic market town located at the southern rim of Yorkshire. It is a modern enterprising town with a rich railway heritage and the most reasonable real estate in the country and owns one of the most vibrant town centres with premium retail outlets. It also provides plenty of opportunities for nightlife, excursions, events, and sporting activities.

South Humber

The Humber is a significant tidal estuary on Northern England's east coast. It is produced by the confluence of the tidal rivers Ouse and Trent at Trent Falls, Faxfleet. It forms part of the boundary between the East Riding of Yorkshire on the north bank and North Lincolnshire on the south bank from there to the North Sea. Although the Humber is an estuary from the point where it forms, it is often referred to as the River Humber on maps.
