University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust was founded in 1992. In 1998, the Trust expanded by including Rugby. Now it is one of the largest teaching Trusts in the United Kingdom, driving two major hospitals. The Trust is the principal teaching hospital for Warwick Medical School, with whom it works in close collaboration to design innovative medical education programmes and clinical research. Hospital of St Cross, Rugby: The hospital is equipped with 110 beds, five operating theatres, a mobile theatre, an urgent Care Centre on-site, a newly-refurbished Blood Taking Unit. St Cross also has an exceptional prestige for elective surgery and rehabilitation services.
