UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS SUSSEX NHS FOUNDATION TRUST
University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSussex) was formed on 1st April 2021. The Trust was created by merging Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, running hospitals in Brighton and Haywards Heath, and Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, running hospitals in Shoreham-by-Sea, Worthing and Chichester.
UHSussex now runs seven hospitals across Brighton & Hove and West Sussex, which are;
Royal Sussex County Hospital
The Royal Sussex County Hospital is an acute teaching hospital in Brighton, England. Emergency department, cancer services at the Sussex Cancer Centre, cardiac surgery, maternity services, and both adult and neonatal intensive care units are the services provided at the hospital.
Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital
The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital is a children's hospital located within the grounds of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton on the south coast of England. It provides outpatient services, inpatient facilities, intensive care and a 24-hour emergency care service for children referred by GPs and other specialists.
Sussex Eye Hospital
The hospital is located in Brington and has a 24-hour ophthalmic A&E department.
St Richard's Hospital
St Richard's Hospital is a medium-sized District General Hospital (DGH) located in Chichester, West Sussex, England. The hospital has approximately 430 beds, including;

A maternity unit.

There is also an accident and emergency department.
Princess Royal Hospital
It is an acute, teaching, general hospital located in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, England. It is the main hospital in the Mid Sussex district. The hospital has medical and surgical facilities, adult intensive care, ENT, diabetic medicine, geriatrics, haematology, urology, and cardiac services.
Southlands Hospital
Southlands Hospital is a medical facility based in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, England, which serves people living in Shoreham, Worthing and other towns/ villages along the south coast and in the inland areas of West Sussex.
Worthing Hospital
Worthing Hospital is a medium-sized District General Hospital (DGH) located in Worthing, West Sussex, England. This hospital has an Accident and Emergency department open 24/7.
